Grab the landscape camp day at Villa Nelimarka
Berries Mässbackaā
ā
1. Let's watch a short video about spring in Finland.
https://youtu.be/5SULaygmkM0?si=PVQCdSwf-vRkWYds
2. Let's go through the steps of the task.
https://youtu.be/5SULaygmkM0?si=PVQCdSwf-vRkWYds
3. Think about what the Finnish spring landscape is like, your own environment and your neighborhood. What does spring look like in your yard or in the field next to you?
4. Paint your own Finnish spring landscape. Create such a work, from which your friend who lives abroad can identify which country you live in. You can use as inspiration the pictures that open brings with you, your own shots from your cell phone or use your imagination.

LET'S BREATHE THE LANDSCAPE
Capture the landscape workshop at Puerta Oscura Gardens, ES
Kristian Kaarna
ā
The idea of the workshop is to approach the landscape and breathing and their relationship by observing with all senses (Prana for Hindus, chi in China, Ki in Japan).

LANDSCAPE IS THE ART OF LOOKING
ā
We place ourselves in the absolute here and now, full of non-conceptual meaning and feeling.
Within us is breath; we breathe the landscape and sense its shapes, smells and colors; we are a medium of art and form.
We pay attentionof guide our intention and we are open to the scope of reflection through a short meditative exercise. This facilitates subtle and profound communication: let us breathe the landscape we give ourselves to be inspired by it, and let us lend our art to convey the invisible essence of beauty and light that permeates all.
ā
Our work is rhythmic, mobile, and includes gestures and patterns in a dynamic and fluid way, the vitality with which we see nature. This supports us, frees us and helps us find the subtle natural harmony that always accompanies us, even if we sometimes cannot see it.
ā
WORKSHOP PROCEDURE:
1. We do a short introduction to meditation to become aware of our inner state and match it with our outer environment. (10 minutes)
2. We think about our surroundings with an open mind and eyes. (5 minutes)
3. We make our work with the technology of our choice. There is also pigments that the Andalusian soil has offered since time immemorial.
ā
PLACE:
PUERTA OSCURA GARDENS at the foot of the Alcazaba has been chosen as a place to refer to the city's cultural roots, where Arab, European, Phoenician and Roman cultures meet. As a port city, Malaga is one of the oldest cities in the world.

TIMESDOORS FROM THE LANDSCAPE
Initialization of the Grab the landscape workshops
Ulla Hautamäki
The landscape is always a part of us. We can't live without it: rural landscape, urban landscape, urban area.We are always somewhere or part of some landscape.
Everyone experiences their landscape subjectively. In artistic work and world imagery, one can be an expressionist, an impressionist, a realist, a surrealist, or even invent a completely new stylistic direction. How about a soul landscape/ landscape painting, even a shared painting or a painting with moods from both?
Is it too complicated? Art should be surprising and fun. However, may it offer safety and freedom to its creator and experiencer. New paths await their travelers. Young artists, draw from the old, accept lessons, but dare and reach for the wonderful paths of creativity!

PHOTO OF LANDSCAPE - IMAGE TRANSFER - TRANSFER
Grab the landscape workshop
Vuokka Oja-Hautamäki
ā
The goal is a new kind of presentation and digital sharing of photos.
Slide presentation: Photograph a longer time on the same destination on a mobile phone. Compile your "logbook" into a slide show. The technology enables the recording, sharing and presentation of images digitally.
Image transfer - transfer image: A color copy of the photo is glued to wood, paper or canvas. After that, the paper is carefully rubbed off the image. Qthe uva gradually begins to take shape when rubbing the paper; it is possible to develop the technique more expressively by combining images or different techniques.
